Luovaliike Oy has developed the Care Service Information System HOTI onto MHSP, meeting the everyday requirements of home care.

Economy
Savings in time total a minimum of 15 min/nurse/day. Savings in costs are made in a long time period due to features related to the quality of the care work, coping at work and development of work. Resources can be transfered from uproductive work (office routines) to productive work.

Time for the customer
Work statistics can be carried out while performing work duties during customer visits. Changes during the day and unplanned visits can be handled without unnecassery phone calss. All the necassery customer data is always available, updated for each customer visit.

Quality improvement
Entry errors easily made in different work stages are eliminated. The need for service can be foreseen. Coping at work is improved. Interaction within the team is improved.

Consistent practices
HOTI makes field and office practices consistent. The use of HOTI also enables the utilisation of consistent practices in the public and private sectors. HOTI provides benefits for the entire care work value chain from the service provider organisation to the customers requiring care and persons of close relation to them.

HOTI Features

• Statistics on work enables service-spesific work statistics (e.g. care or other services)
• Communications and phone services provide the home care team with versatile communications tools
• Concern indicator enables a dialogue i.e. exchange of information between home care workers. It is and aid to hel find meanings to various observations by utilising the workrs tacit information; intuition. This enables e.g. early intervention in the decline in the mobility of a customer living at home
• Work planning and control is carried out via HOTI Team tool. HOTI Team performs the resources distribution in which customer visits are divided among nurses.
• Optional software includes e.g. working hours monitoring, and the RAI-Resident Assesment Instrument created in cooperation with Oy Raisoft Ltd.

HOTI Smart PDA

We have tested dozens of professional devices in order to find the one meeting our requirements; long lifespan (over 5 years), good physical endurance (dust, splatter and drop resistant), operation time without charging no less than 10-12 hours. The device of our preference has been tested in cooperation with nurses in the field.

The device contains Windows Mobile operating system, phone, GPRS/3G/WLAN connections and a high-quality camera. We provider maintenance and support services in cooperation with the device supplier.
